Semi-Analytical Finite Element Method for calculating dispersion curves of a CFRP plate

چکیده

Composite Materials are widely used thanks to their mechanical characteristics. Non destructive evaluation requires knowing the exact dispersion curves determine propagative waves and resolve phase velocity of symmetrical antisymmetrical modes. The aim this paper is plot a Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer plate using Semi Analytical Finite Element Method algorithm. This method combines analytical expression displacement finite element procedure. resultant advantage both simplicity rapidity. obtained results showed that accuracy depends on elements number meshing. To ensure good precision fast computation method, order interpolation functions must be optimized.
